Waitlist open · pickup points being set up
Carpool from Ikorodu Road to Victoria Island
From Ketu, Ojota, Maryland, Anthony, Palmgrove and Onipanu to VI: when rides start, you’ll share the drive with verified professionals going the same way. The waitlist is open and pickup points are being set up.
via Ikorodu Road and Third Mainland Bridge
The road: Ikorodu Road, then the bridge
Ikorodu Road carries some of the heaviest commuter traffic in Lagos, with its own BRT lane and danfos stopping at every bus stop. From Ketu down to Jibowu the morning is stop-start, and getting to VI then means crossing to the Island: usually Third Mainland Bridge, sometimes Eko Bridge when Third Mainland is locked.
This route is on the waitlist because people along Ikorodu Road asked for it. The car you’d share is a professional’s own car, already making the drive to VI, with 2 or 3 riders picked up in the order the road meets them.
Pickup points: being set up
Pickup points here are still being set up. They’ll be named landmarks people already use, by bus stops on Ikorodu Road, at a spot where a car can pull in without stopping in the BRT lane. Heading for the Island, the road meets them in this order:
- Ketu
- Ojota
- Maryland
- Anthony
- Palmgrove
- Onipanu
- Fadeyi
- Jibowu
- Victoria Island
Start further out, in Mile 12 or Ikorodu? Join anyway: choose Other and say where you’d wait. The final points depend on where riders and drivers actually wait.
Morning and evening times
Morning pickups are planned for 6:00 to 7:00 am, with cars reaching VI after the bridge. Heading home, cars will leave VI between 5:00 and 7:00 pm. You choose the time you usually leave when you join, and rides will only run between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm.
We’ll add typical journey times for this route once the pickup points are set and the first drivers have timed it.
Every ride will be confirmed ahead: morning rides the evening before, rides home by 4:30 pm on the day. If someone can’t make it, Simbi, Ganusii’s WhatsApp assistant, will offer the seat to someone else on the route or tell everyone who is riding.
