From Sangotedo you meet the traffic before Lekki even starts: the Abraham Adesanya junction, then the Ajah under-bridge, then Chevron, and finally Lekki Phase 1 before Victoria Island. Allow about 90 minutes at peak by our rough estimate; on a bad morning, more.

That length is exactly why sharing makes sense here. Sangotedo is the first pickup on the line, so a car that starts here can fill its other seats along the way, at Ajah, Ikota, VGC or Chevron. If you drive from Sangotedo, you’re the most useful person on the route.

Early mornings, late drop-offs

Sangotedo pickups will start early: plan on 5:30 to 6:30 am if you want to be at your desk in VI by 8:00. Rides can start from 5:00 am. Heading home, cars will leave VI between 5:00 and 7:00 pm, and Sangotedo will be the last drop-off, so you’ll be in the car longest both ways.

You choose the time you usually leave when you join.

Every ride will be confirmed ahead: morning rides the evening before, rides home by 4:30 pm on the day. If someone can’t make it, Simbi, Ganusii’s WhatsApp assistant, will offer the seat to someone else on the route or tell everyone who is riding.
